Sem-Calaca RES Corporation (SCRC) is the retail electricity supply business of the power arm of Semirara Mining and Power Corporation (SMPC) and is licensed by the ERC on November 21, 2016. SCRC’s operation is guided by its vision to become one of the leading Retail Electricity Suppliers in the country.
SCRC’s affiliate plants, SEM-Calaca Power Corporation (SCPC) and Southwest Luzon Power Generation Corporation (SLPGC), are coal-fired power plants located in Calaca, Batangas; together they supply about 900 MW to the grid.
